JAL MAHAL

The beautiful and quiet Jal Mahal is beautifully located in the centre of Lake Man Sagar, on the outskirts of Jaipur. Surrounded by the Nahargarh Hills, this low-rise symmetrical Palace was previously a shooting lodge for the Maharajas, which today attracts people from all over the world.

Hawa Mahal (5 Kms)

With a marvellous historical background, Hawa Mahal is a prominent attraction spot in Pink city which tops the list of things to do in Jaipur. The name Hawa Mahal comes from its distinctive structure, a mesh of small windows that allowed fresh breezes to enter the palace and kept it calm throughout the hot summer months.

City Palace (5.2 Kms)

The City Palace was the royal residence of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. Now open to tourists, it showcases the handicrafts and architecture depicting Mughal and Rajput styles. The palace is divided into courtyards, structures, and gardens, including the Chandra Mahal and the Mubarak Mahal. There is a museum which displays a variety of unique handcrafted products and other items from the City Palace's royal background.

Amer Fort (5.4 Kms)

The Amer Fort, located on a hill near Jaipur, is one of India's most spectacular palaces. This magnificent structure, also known as the Amber Fort, is part of a larger complex. The vast fort can be toured in approximately 2-3 hours. There are audio guides available that explain the history.

Albert Hall Museum (6.7 Km)

Apart from forts and palaces, soak in history by entering the world-famous Albert Hall Museum to learn about the country's rich heritage and history through a treasure trove of relics. An Egyptian Mummy is one of the main attractions of this museum, which claims to be Rajasthan's oldest.

Patrika Gate (17 Kms)

The Patrika Gate serves as the gateway to the Jawahar Circle Park and is one of India's most photographed locations. A large gate known for its beautiful construction, it is distinguished by brilliant colours and elaborate carvings representing Rajasthani culture.
